Yo dude, I was reading this article about Allstate raising car insurance rates even more in 2023. It’s crazy, I know we already pay an arm and a leg for car insurance, and now it’s going up again.
Basically, the article says that Allstate is increasing its rates because of higher costs associated with car accidents and repairs. Apparently, cars these days are more expensive to fix, so insurance companies have to charge more to cover those costs. And with more people on the road as the pandemic starts to wind down, there’s a higher probability of accidents happening.
I remember a few years ago, I got into a fender bender and my insurance rates went up for like 3 years. It was such a pain in the ass to have to pay more money just because of one stupid mistake. But I guess it makes sense, insurance companies have to cover their expenses somehow.
Overall, this is a bummer for all of us who already struggle to pay for car insurance. But it’s important to remember that having car insurance is crucial, especially in case of an accident. It’s better to pay a little extra now than to be stuck with a huge bill later.
