The hey-day of the 70s, 80s, and 90s are certainly over (don’t even get me going about the 50s or 60s) but the women of the last 70 years still manage to make us swoon. They may be older actresses now but these Hollywood celebrities continue to age like fine wine. From modeling on some of the most exclusive runways, to appearing (and selling) in many of the most iconic films of the last few decades, these older actresses have established their beauty, skill, and timelessness, now and then.

Whether your favorite older actresses are American or bring their beautiful graces from far away places, the Hollywood and celebrity female superstars on this list will go down in history. Some are older than others, by quite a few years, but from appearance alone, we bet you won’t be able to tell an age difference of more than 15 years. It’s true! All these women still continue to surprise us!

Phoebe Cates - 57

Born in 1963, the lovely Phoebe Cates is a former actress, singer, and model that gained stardom largely in the 1980s. Cates was seen in Drop Dead Fred, Baby Sister, and as the unbelievable Linda Barrett in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Despite a 1994 acting retirement, Cates returned for The Anniversary Party in 2001. These days, she sells jewelry, clothing, antiques, art, and perfume at her New York City store, Blue Tree.

Barbi Benton - 70

It’s hard to forget a face like that of Barbi Benton, even after all these years. The retired actress, TV personality, singer, and, of course, Playboy model, was a memorable staple of the 70s. From “Ain’t That Just the Way” to her role in CBS’s country music, television variety show, Her Haw, Benton ultimately took a break from the show world in the 80s to raise her children.

Pauly Perrette - 51

Whether you know her as Pauley Perrette from NCIS or as the real-life Pauley Perrette, this actress is still glowing in her 50s. Aside from an educational and professional connection to criminal science realm, Perrette is also a notable activist, singer, and poet.

Catherine Bell - 51

Catherine Bell, best known as Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie in Jag, had also been a staple in 2007’s Army Wives and The Good Witch movies. With looks that just won’t quit, due to her love of Maybelline products, Bell is anticipated to once again play the part of Sarah MacKenzie in NCIS- Los Angeles.

Demi Moore - 57

Demi Moore didn’t even bother finishing high school when she entered the world of modeling and acting. Starring in 1990’s Ghost, the highest-grossing film of that year, earned Moore a Golden Globe nomination. She continued to make a name for herself as a member of the Brat Pack and subsequent roles in A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, and Disclosure. In 2019, she released her own memoir, Inside Out, becoming a New York Times Best Seller.

Rebecca De Mornay - 60

As Debby Huston in The Slugger’s Wife and Lana in Risky Business, Rebecca De Mornay continues to be a youthful-looking actress and producer, thanks to clean and hydrated skin. She’s continued with other theatre credits with works in The Three Musketeers, Lords of Dogtown, and Wedding Crashers.

Christina McNichol - 57

Born in the 60s, Christina McNichols maintains hints of her younger-self, even with each passing year. You may remember her as Polly in Only When I Laugh or as Barbara Weston in Empty Nest, a TV sitcom. Thanks to her work as Letitia “Buddy” Lawrence in Family, McNichols earned herself two Emmy Awards.

Julia Roberts - 52

We can’t imagine a world in which the stunning Julia Roberts did not play the role of Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman. In fact, thanks to her performance, the filmed grossed an amazing $464 million worldwide. And yet, there’s more to this pretty face. She’s won three Golden Globe Awards (with five additional nominations), then nominated for four Academy Awards, and winning the Best Actress Academy Award for her role in Erin Brockovich.

Alyssa Milano - 47

Alyssa Jane Milano, active in the entertainment industry since 1984, has definitely made a name for herself in acting prowess and natural beauty. Becoming a teen idol in Tony Danza’s Who’s the Boss?, Milano has continued her streak of success in Melrose Place, Charmed, and My Name is Earl. Recently, Milano has been an active model, actress, comic book creator, and Sheer Cover domestics spokesmodel during the last ten years.

Salma Hayek - 53

The gorgeous Salma Hayek, famed Mexican-American actress and producer, doesn’t look a day over 30. Beginning her acting career in Mexico through the telenovela, Teresa, Hayek eventually moved to Hollywood in 1991. She rose to fame thanks to roles in From Dusk till Dawn, Dogma, and Wild Wild West.

Melissa Gilbert - 56

Born in 1964, Melissa Gilbert began her entertainment career just a few short years later. Experience in commercials and guest roles led to her famous portrayal of Laura Ingalls Wilder in NBC’s Little House on the Prairie. Barbara Eden - 89

Barbara Eden must have granted herself a wish of youthful beauty when she was still playing the titular character of I Dream of Jeannie. Wow! Her dashing looks are likely from a commitment to her personal trainer and spin classes. Even at 89, she’s still acting, most recently in My Adventures with Santa.

Maureen McCormick - 64

Jenilee Harrison - 62

As soon as Jenilee Harrison took her first step into Three’s Company, everyone knew they were watching a future star. Born in 1948, Barbara Mandrell makes 71 look young. The country music singer, musician, and actress was well-known for her country hits in the 70s and 80s. She even starred in her own NBC variety show program. Mandrell performed for the last time in October 1997 at the Grand Ole Opry House.

Thanks to Fantastic Voyage, not only did Raquel Welch get her start in Hollywood, we simultaneously began our voyage towards lusting over her. It’s no surprise that she was ranked the second “Hottest Women of All Time” by Men’s Health in 2011.

Cate Blanchett is regarded as one of the greatest actresses of her generation and she just seems to keep getting better! She initially gained international recognition for her portrayal of Elizabeth I in the 1998 film Elizabeth, but has since starred in huge productions including The Lord of the Rings, Thor- Ragnarok, and Ocean’s 8. Films she’s been involved in as of late include Pinocchio, Nightmare Alley, and Don’t Look Up.

Sandra Bullock - 56

The beloved Sandra Bullock made her acting debut with a minor role in the 1987 thriller Hangmen, but really broke through in the 1994 film Speed. Throughout the ’90s she continued to establish herself in both romantic comedies and thrillers, and even went on to start her own production company called Fortis Films. Most recently she starred in the 2018 thriller Bird Box.

Diane Keaton - 75

The 75-year-old Diane Keaton is known for her peculiar personality and style. Her impressive film career began in 1970 with notable works such as The Godfather, Sleeper, and Shoot the Moon. In 2020, Keaton portrayed Nina Banks in Father of the Bride, Part 3, and Sara in Love, Weddings & Other Disasters. She’s also won numerous awards throughout her acting career.

Jane Seymour - 69

British-American actress Jane Seymour is best known for her work in Live and Let Die, Somewhere in Time, and East of Eden back in the ’70s and early ’80s, but she certainly doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. In 2020 she played Diane in The War With Grandpa, and Helen in Friendsgiving.

Halle Berry - 54

Halle Berry could easily pass for being 20 years younger than she actually is, don’t you think? Not only has she acted in countless projects over the years including X-Men and Catwoman, she was also a pageant queen and model in the ’80s. Her secret to staying so young? Well, for starters she’s diabetic so she largely stays away from sugar. She also exercises and takes good care of her skin every day.

Julie Andrews - 85

Dame Julie Andrews’ impressive acting career spans more than 50 years, and she doesn’t really seem to be slowing down much, even at age 85. Ms. Andrews is of course best known for starring in both Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music in the ’60s, but most recently she’s played Lady Whistledown in the TV show Bridgerton.

Lucy Liu - 52

It’s hard to believe that Lucy Liu is in her 50s when she doesn’t look a day over 35! She’s best known for playing Alex Munday in Charlie’s Angels in 2000, but has continued to act over the years, even getting into voice work. In 2020 she played Sienna in the movie Stage Mother. She apparently doesn’t drink coffee because she believes it’s bad for her skin, and clearly that’s working out for her!

Meryl Streep - 71

Ms. Meryl Streep is often described as the best actress of her time, which makes sense considering the contributions she’s made to film, theater, and TV. She got her start in the industry in the mid-’70s in a public theater production. Since then she’s won countless awards for her film roles, and currently has the most Oscar nominations of any actor in history. In 2019 she played Mary Louise Wright in the TV show Big Little Lies, and she’s set to play President Janie Orlean in the 2021 film Don’t Look Up.

Helen Mirren - 75

Dame Helen Mirren is another iconic actress who has garnered much respect in TV, film, and theater. Her career spans five decades and she’s the only person to have portrayed both Queen Elizabeths on screen. She even won an Oscar for her portrayal of Elizabeth II in the movie The Queen in 2006. In 2021, she’s playing Magdalene “Queenie” Shaw in the 2021 film F9.

Jennifer Aniston - 52

Jennifer Aniston is the perfect example of an actress who continues to age like fine wine. Not only did she star in Friends, one of the most popular sitcoms to ever be created, but she continues to land big roles and hone in on her acting skills.
